My Streamyx 'died'ed for the past few days. Yeah, sad :(
It came back alive just today. Yeah, happy :)
That explains the long overdue post here. Heehh~
Updates of the camp I attended in the past 2 weeks..Here goes:
EPCC Church Camp 2007
Firstly, I would say this is a proper Family Camp.
Yeah, that means :
-no wedgies till innocent underwears got ripped apart
-no "currents" where you might not celebrate Father's day in future
-no guy pillow talks
-no waterguns battle in the middle of the night
-no crazy stupid jokes
-no midnight futsal
-no brutal pillow fights
-no throwing people into the pool/sea/drain
-no circle of life
Haha, I really did miss IF camps! :)
However, all is not lost! This camp definitely different from previous Uni Camps.Somehow I feel slightly old ...haha!Over the weekend,I am refreshed and challenged in a way to evaluate my commitment in Him.
Ps Clement, the camp guest speaker is excellent. Naturally funny,lame..but so much truth in his sharing....I do have alot of reflection to be made! I will leave the message personal to me...
In the meantime, other highlights during the camp..I will let the pictures do the talking :) I am too lazy to explain everything..~

The name of this cool blogger, and his group, the Unleashed!

The place to have the encounter with God

The view from my Hotel Room...beautiful...
The Hotel-Mates below

Jeff... the Metro Dude

Samuel.....no comments...in this pic.....sigh...hehe

Marcus... Unleashed assistant group leader..looks like Joash, only taller and less lamer
The Worship
Remember the worship audition in my previous post?
Anyhow, the real evaluation comes when I am scheduled to play for 2 of the sessions in the camp!
Its been 5 months since I got the play the drums back in Melaka, let alone in a Praise and Worship Session.
I enjoyed every moment of it, really I do.
I am blessed to be able to play for the sessions. I am sastified to see God moving through the songs. I am pumped up seeing people jumping and dancing in His presence.
I could never had trade this moment for something else. Every beat that was laid...enjoying every single stroke of it. Yeshh~
It was an awesome time!!

Yamaha Stage Custom that was used...really nice tuning, I really like the snare sound alot!
There is one session, when there is a power trip during the P&W.
No guitars,no mikes,no bass, no keyboard melodies, only a girl drummer onstage can be heard.
Everyone continued praising and worshipping, this is truly an amazing feat to see,in regardless of the condition of "music"less'ness...the worship continues..
It reminds me of the phrase " Heart of Worship"....This is truly it!
Not music to dictate the mood! I am encouraged by this, did managed to sneak-capture a few pictures while worship but it all turn out dark, so yeah...cant post it up here.
Moving on...

Wins...the girl with the wide smile, and the assistant Leader of Group Trombosan!
On the 2nd day of the camp, probaly due to over exertion...have to be wheelchaired for half the day!
This picture looks kinda blur as she stills can move alot though immobilized....sigh...ehehe..
My CG gathering to play the all-time favourite MAFIA in our hotel room: Everytime, I played Mafia, I will remember Stef, who introduced this game to us wayyyyyyy back in the earlier IF camps ! haha..

I thank God for every single one of my CG members. They had added fun + joy to my life here in Penang...
The Presentation
The only 1 thing similar to all camps..yes..presentation time!Unlike campfire and skits I had memorably gone through before...this time, this camp...it was a group cheer and a banner presentation!

The judges : Ps Jeremiah,Ps Sam,Ps Clement ala American Idols style
18 groups trying to impress the judges by showcasting their creativity and talents...
A few snippets of the banners made:

I really feel all the banners are nice and creative!!
However, needless to say..ahaha..my group's banner won the 1st prize..wo hoo...

The winning banner :)
Sunday comes...Time to take off to normal life ahead....
I remember a speaker in a SUFES Camp I had attended said this... "This camp is a Pit-stop, but real race begins again after this..."
So the real test begins, after this camp.. I do not want to be hearers, but rather doers of Your Word!!

Samuel being emo, and being not ready to leave camp...heeeh~~
That's all updates for the camp!!
God Bless,
Tze Seong
